watershed: a community church in Stoughton, Wisconsin

This weekend, we’re using our regular gathering time to serve together.  We have an opportunity to help at Stoughton Head Start and at Todd & Kathleen Hipke’s farm.  We’ll be serving by working - adults and kids alike.  

We’ll all converge on the Hipkes’ farm (map) at 10am where we have plenty of work to help prepare a place for Todd’s work with disadvantaged youth in Madison. We’ll be rehabbing a tobacco barn, prepping volleyball and/or basketball area, and more.  We have some great things lined up for the kids, as well.  

A few people are also going to Stoughton Head Start for a short time.  Cheryl Housley is coordinating that effort and will be in touch.  If you’d like to start by helping out there - let Cheryl know () 

In the best way possible, think “good old-fashioned barn-raising” - a community of people coming together to accomplish a big task over the course of the day.  

• When & Where: starting at 10am at the Hipkes.
• Lunch: bring something to grill and something to share.
• Drinks, plates, etc. provided.
• Please join us for as long as you can be there - an hour or all day.
